About Us
While many think of the MEGA888 Group as just Malaysia’s highest RTP slot provider, we’re really a lot more than that.
Since our beginning, Mega888 Group’s goal has been to bring new revolutions to the online gaming space by changing the ways these services are delivered to and accessed by users and players alike.
We started by beating out all our competitors with better odds and bigger rewards. Then made everything simple and accessible through the MEGA888 App, slowly adding to and upgrading it as the years went on. All while enlisting a long list of MEGA888 Agents and partners to make sure everyone heard about it.
Not convinced? Take a closer look at how MEGA888 has changed throughout the years.
The MEGA888 Group was founded back in 2017 as a small, but expanding, software development company. For the most part, the MEGA888 brand was unseen and unknown, as our group was working more on developing the platforms, providers, and games of other brands.
The idea of creating, designing, and publishing a platform to host all our MEGA888 Games in one place is to make it as easy as possible for our Malaysian fans to play all their favorite online slot games. Hence our decision to focus first on the Android platform through the MEGA888 APK file in 2018 — as it’s still the most used operating system on commercial mobile devices today.
Though the APK file could not run natively on iOS devices at the time, resourceful players still managed to run our software through emulators to achieve a similar experience.
With this launch of the MEGA888 App, came the implementation of our new MEGA888 TEST ID feature, allowing users to try our games for free before committing any microtransactions. It may seem like a staple in the online slot world today, but the MEGA888 Group was truly the first to pioneer such user-friendly experiences.
To really spread the word of a new mobile slot app, we at MEGA888 Group came up with the idea to involve existing online betting sites and brands to draw more attention to our lucrative offers. To this day, many of these brands remain as our partners, and likely will continue to for years to come. This includes names like Winbox or APKPure, an online repository for various download links and files for all kinds of apps and software. Here, we leveraged the international reach of our partners and affiliates to better spread the word about MEGA888 as a go-to gaming platform.
To better meet the needs of our expanding audience during and after our Year One, a new MEGA888 iOS was developed and released in 2019. This new version of our mobile slot app would run entirely on the Apple operating system. Rather than having our players go through the trouble of having to learn to operate, possibly harmful, third party emulator software.
Porting the MEGA888 app software to Windows PC was our group’s first big technological leap, one that came with many challenges. In the end, our research and development team was able to create an all-new MEGA888 PC app downloadable on laptops, desktops, and computers running on the Windows operating system.
When BK8, originally known as Bolaking 8, was transitioning over to a sport-centric online casino Malaysia — MEGA888 was the first few brands approached to bolster their slot games selection. Eventually, BK8 Casino would also take on our fishing games as well as offer free credit casino bonuses applicable to MEGA888 Games to draw in more newcomers.
With the launch of the MEGAH5 platform, MEGA888 players could finally start playing MEGA888 online through their browsers. In the past, the only way to do so was by accessing the MEGA888 game provider through our partners’ platforms. Though, unlike other platforms, MEGAH5 was built from the ground up using the COCOS2D game engine and encrypted using TLS, rather than the deprecated SSL encryption. This naturally led to a web gaming platform with up to date data protection that also had lightweight hardware requirements.
Pgyer is a well known, China-based app testing platform with its own APK hub that offers all kinds of downloadables for users to access at any time. We’ve worked closely with Pgyer Inc. to not only deliver our various slot apps across international markets, but also playtest and benchmark future versions of the MEGA888 App to come.

MEGA888 Going Forward
As you’ve seen, the MEGA888 Group has done a lot, but we’re planning to do a lot more.
Building Trust Through The MEGA888 Badge
Our brand’s popularity is undisputed, but that only makes us more vulnerable to scammers, frauds, and posers.
Simply put — MEGA888, including our apps, services, and branding, has consistently been used as a false front for all kinds of fraudulent activity. This form of corporate and brand identity theft has left a negative impression for many new users looking to just have a fun time gaming online.
To combat such attacks, the MEGA888 Group is currently researching and developing a new means of identification. One that allows our players to quickly differentiate a true MEGA888 agent from a fraudulent one.
Join Our Community on MEGA888 Forum
MEGA888 Forum — a new centre of communication and social networking for all things MEGA888 and possibly even beyond.
Here, you’ll be able to chat, discuss, and share all your thoughts, questions, and problems you might have about MEGA888 and our products and services. In the long run, this MEGA888 Forum will be a new means for the MEGA888 Group to communicate and interact with our massive community. Which is becoming especially important now that we’ve begun expanding further and further around the globe.
